Bitmap2Material allows to generate a full material from a single diffuse map in a few milliseconds.
As a consequence, you can create full materials in your game while storing only the diffuse map + B2M (a few kb) in the game data, and generate the whole material at runtime.
This feature can be used in Game Engine compatible with Substance:
- Unity (for web / stand alone, iOS/Android)
- UE3/UDK (PC)
- Any other game engine which is using Substance Engine
If you wish to use Bitmap2Material to save space on your mobile game, you should use the bitmap2material_mobile version (included with B2M product) in order to have better performances.
